About the Bangkok Fight Club
BFC was formed in 2001 by Alex Berezovik & Todd Barlow as an informal training group. At the time the club had only 6 members. Numbers has steadily grown to the fairly large group of followers and today 17 different nationalities are represented at the Bangkok Fight Club.
In December 2002 BFC got it's very own superb training facility in the downtown Bangkok right in the middle of Asok road (Petchburi MRT station or Asok BTS station).
In January 2003 BFC got it's cool trade mark dog logo.
Since August 2003 BFC is proud to be affiliated with Cesar Gracie's "Gracie Fighter Jiu-Jitsu" to become the first ever Jui-Jitsu school in Thailand to carry the Gracie's name and Gracie's logo.
The training programs provided by BFC are including
Mauy Thai Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ),
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA),
Street self defense and combat fitness (private instruction only)
Members of BFC were invited to teach the course of close range combat and ground fighting to the personnel of the Brinks Security ( Thailand) one of the major security services providers in Thailand. In March and April 2004 BFC instructors were also teaching a course of Brazilain Jiu-Jitsu and Self defense to the members of the prestigious Royal Bangkok Sports Club.
BFC has the honor to be the very first martial art school ever to introduce and to showcase the art of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Mixed martial arts to the Thai TV audience

Siam Combat Freestyle Fighting Championship 2003
On September 21, 2003 three of the BKK Fight Club's members entered the Siam Combat Freestyle Fighting Championship 2003 to get 5 victories winning 3 (!) weight divisions that day! Under 63 kg, under 70 kg and the Open division. BFC members defeated every one of their opponents in the most convincing fashion by TKO or submission! Alex Berezovik won the Eight Men tournament with 2 submissions and 1 TKO victory all 3 fights were won in the very first round.
